To provide a mounting bracket that hardly interferes with work, facilitates the mounting work of a temporary handrail, and hardly scratches an object to be mounted.SOLUTION: A mounting bracket 1 is a bracket for mounting a temporary handrail 3 to a bridgeboard 95 at the construction site of a steel-framed staircase 91 under construction, which includes a bracket body 31 that holds the temporary handrail 3, a fixed clamping portion 38 that is provided on the bracket body 31 and arranged inside the steel-framed staircase, a clamping piece 37 that moves in the plate thickness direction of the bridgeboard 95 that is disposed outside the steel-framed staircase and is inserted between the fixed clamping portion 38 and the same and clamps the bridgeboard 95 between the fixed clamping portion 38 and the same, a bolt 41 arranged outside the steel-framed staircase and vertically screwed into the bracket body 31 with its head exposed upward, and a wedge piece 39 arranged outside the steel-framed staircase for converting axial movement of the bolt 41 into movement of the clamping piece 37.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
