To provide a brace structure which enables adjustment of the horizontal rigidity of a brace member.SOLUTION: The brace structure comprises: brace members 23 and 24 whose one ends are fixed to a column-beam frame provided with a column and a beam 13; and an elastic connection member. The elastic connection member comprises: elastic members 30 and 40 expanded and contracted so as to impart elastic force; and a swing member 25 bringing the other end close to a beam below the beam 13 when tension force is applied to the other end by expansion and contraction of the elastic members 30 and 40. The swing member 25 is rotatably fixed through pin joining to a projected part 15 provided in a middle part of the beam 13 and projected downward. The elastic members 30 and 40 are connected to the beam 13 at both ends of the swing member 25.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
