SELF-LUBRICATING CERAMIC SINTERED BODY
To provide a self-lubricating ceramic sintered body having both mechanical characteristics and self-lubrication property.SOLUTION: A ball 4 of a rolling bearing 1 has a base material made of a ceramic sintered body. The base material has a three-dimensional network structure with pores facing a sliding surface, in a surface layer including the sliding surface that slides on a mating member. Lubricant is retained in the pores. The porosity of the pores in the sliding surface is 0.50% to 30%. The lubricant contains a base oil with a kinematic viscosity at 40°C of 5 mm2/s to 50 mm2/s.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
