EARTHQUAKE STRENGTHENING DEVICE FOR BRIDGE
To provide an earthquake strengthening device for bridge having a horizontal force sharing function and a step prevention function that can be installed in a small space.SOLUTION: An earthquake strengthening device for bridge added between a lower structure and an upper structure of an existing bridge to reinforce earthquake performance, includes a first member 2 having a protrusion 22 and a second member 3 having a recess 31. A horizontal force sharing function is provided by loosely fitting the protrusion 22 and the recess 31 to form a shear key by connecting and supporting the first member 2 to one of the lower structure and the upper structure and connecting and supporting the second member 3 to the other of them. A step prevention function is provided by interposing a spacer 6 having a prescribed thickness between the first member 2 and the second member 3, or between the lower structure or the upper structure and the earthquake strengthening device to suppress the falling of the upper structure and reduce the step therebetween.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
