To provide a vehicle body information collecting system capable of accurately grasping an occurrence cause of a dangerous event.SOLUTION: A vehicle body information collecting system 1 includes: an information detecting device 18 detecting information related to a vehicle operation of a construction machine 10 and information related to a vehicle state; a camera 14 imaging video images of surroundings of the construction machine 10; a recording device 17 recording the information detected by the information detecting device 18 and the video images imaged by the camera 14; and a control device 19. The control device 19 detects at least one of changes of the vehicle operation and the vehicle state, on the basis of the information detected by the information detecting device 18. When the change is detected, the information detected by the information detecting device 18 and the video images imaged by the camera 14 in a prescribed time zone before and after the change is detected are extracted and recorded in an event recording and keeping part 172 of the recording device 17.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
