CONNECTION STRUCTURE OF COLUMN TO BRACE, AND CONNECTION HARDWARE CONNECTING COLUMN TO BRACE
To provide connection structure of a column to a brace and a connection hardware allowing the brace to function immediately after a horizontal load is applied to a frame in an earthquake, and capable of forming the frame having excellent aseismic performance.SOLUTION: Connection structure 80 of a column and a brace has a brace 21 and a column 13 connected via a connection hardware 50. The connection hardware 50 has an abutting plate 51 abutting on a side face 13a of the column 13, a standing plate 52 and reinforcement ribs 53 laterally extending from the side face of the standing plate 52. The reinforcement rib 53 has at least a sloped part 53b sloped in relation to the side face 13a. A first insertion hole 54 for inserting a shaft part 41 of headed fixing means 40 is opened to the sloped part 53. The abutting plate 51 further has a second insertion hole 55 opened for inserting the shaft part 41 inserted through the first insertion hole 54. An end of the brace 21 is fixed to the standing plate 52, a head part 42 is locked to the sloped part 53b, and a part of the shaft part 41 is fixed to the column 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
