To provide a castable refractory that exhibits sufficient strength after curing, has high corrosion resistance against slag, is impervious to slag, and resists build deposition.SOLUTION: A castable refractory contains alumina, graphite, spinel, and strontium cement. The content of the graphite is 1-10 mass%, the content of the spinel is 18-37 mass%, the content of the strontium cement is 7-20 mass%, the content of magnesia is 8 mass% or less, and the content of alumina cement is 10 mass% or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None
