METHOD FOR REPAIRING CRACK DAMAGE IN CERAMIC SINTERED BODY
To provide a method for efficiently repairing crack damage in a ceramic sintered body without necessarily requiring a repairing material such as a second phase and a heteroelement.SOLUTION: A method for repairing crack damage of a ceramic sintered body of the present invention includes: heating the ceramic sintered body in a temperature range of 300°C or more and 1200°C. or less; applying and holding an electric field exceeding a critical voltage value that causes a flash phenomenon in the ceramic sintered body. The ceramic sintered body may be held in a temperature range higher than the temperature at the time of heating and equal to or lower than 1500°C while applying the electric field and maintaining the energized state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】 第二相および異種元素等の修復材を必ずしも必要とすることなく、セラミックス焼結体中の亀裂損傷を効率的に修復する方法を提供すること。【解決手段】 本発明のセラミックス焼結体の亀裂損傷を修復する方法は、セラミックス焼結体を300℃以上1200℃以下の温度範囲で加熱することと、セラミックス焼結体にフラッシュ現象を生じさせる臨界電圧値を超える電界を印加し、保持することとを包含する。電界を印加し、通電状態を保持しながら、セラミックス焼結体を加熱時の温度より高く1500℃以下の温度範囲で保持してもよい。【選択図】 図1
