To provide a floor covering material that has a fitting shape for secure fitting to other floor covering materials without disengagement, while preventing the occurrence of thrust-up and steps, and can be easily and securely laid on the floor.SOLUTION: A base material layer 2 has a first fitting engagement part 24 and a second fitting engagement part 25 provided at an end part of a main body part 21. The first fitting engagement part has a first protruding part 241 protruding upward, a first neck part 242 provided at a lower portion of the first protruding part, and a first recessed part 243 provided between the first protruding part and the main body part. The second fitting engagement part has a second protruding part 251 protruding downward, a second neck part 252 provided at an upper portion of the second protruding part, a second recessed part 253 provided between the second protruding part and the main body part, and an opening opened downward from the second recessed part and opened with an extending-direction size smaller than that of the second recessed part. In addition, if a width of the first protruding part in the extending direction is set to H1 and an open width of the opening in the extending direction is set to H2, H1 and H2 have the relation of H1>H2 and 0.10 mm
【課題】嵌合が外れ難く突上げや段差の発生のし難い嵌合形状を有し、容易かつ確実に設置可能な床材を提供する。【解決手段】基材層２は、本体部２１の端部に設けた第１の嵌合係合部２４及び第２の嵌合係合部２５を有している。第１の嵌合係合部は、上方に突出する第１の凸部２４１と、第１の凸部の下部に設けた第１の首部２４２と、第１の凸部と本体部との間に設けた第１の凹部２４３とを有し、第２の嵌合係合部は、下方に突出する第２の凸部２５１と、第２の凸部の上部に設けた第２の首部２５２と、第２の凸部本体部との間に設けた第２の凹部２５３と、第２の凹部から下方に向けて開口し、前記第２の凹部より小さな前記延設方向の寸法で開口している開口部と、を有する。そして、第１の凸部の延設方向の幅をＨ１とし、開口部の延設方向の開口幅をＨ２とすると、Ｈ１ ＞ Ｈ２であり、０．１０ｍｍ ＜ Ｈ１－Ｈ２ ＜ ０．３０ｍｍの関係を有している。【選択図】図４
