To provide a pseudo environment generating device capable of generating stimuli that users feel natural in an indoor environment without a window.SOLUTION: A pseudo environment generating device is provided with a window frame provided on a wall, a moving member movable with respect to the window frame so that it can be in an open state, in which an opening is formed between the window frame and the moving member, and in a closed state, in which the window frame is closed and no opening is formed between the window frame and the moving member, a display device that displays an image showing a simulated environment in the window frame, a stimulus generation unit that generates stimuli according to the pseudo-environment, and a control unit that controls the stimulus generation unit according to the opening degree of the moving member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
