To provide a rotary telescopic device that can suppress twisting of a coil spring when a rod is pushed in and rotated, thereby preventing the malfunctioning of the rod.SOLUTION: This rotary telescopic device 10 has a body member 11, a rod 40, a spring housing space 44 provided in the rod, a coil spring 50 that urges the rod 40, a cam mechanism formed between the rod 40 and a tubular part 15 that causes the rod 40 to move axially and concurrently to rotate, and a spacer 80 positioned between one end of the coil spring 50 and a closed end portion 43. A rotating sliding portion is provided between the spacer 80 and the closed end portion 43, locally contacting the spacer 80 and the closed end portion 43, including a portion located at the axial center C of the coil spring 50.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
