To provide a membrane unit that allows a housing to be recycled.MEANS FOR SOLVING THE PROBLEM: A membrane unit is equipped with: a cross-flow membrane filter; a cylindrical housing which houses the membrane filter; a cap with which the housing is detachably sealed and in which are formed an inflow port through which water flows into the housing, a first discharge port for discharging, to the exterior of the housing, permeated water obtained as a result of the water permeating the membrane filter after flowing into the housing through the inflow port, and a second discharge port for discharging, to the exterior of the housing, concentrated water obtained as a result of concentration of water due to the permeation of the permeated water through the membrane filter; and a positioning member which is secured to the cap with reference to the first discharge port, and sets the position of the membrane filter inside the housing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
