To provide a fine bubble generation unit which can generate a large amount of fine bubbles.SOLUTION: A fine bubble generation unit causes a change in a pressure of a liquid flowing in a passage 4 to generate fine bubbles. The fine bubble generation unit has a pipe-like member 1 having a center axis 2 and a passage 4 enclosed by a pipe-like inner wall 3 extending along the center axis. The inner wall has: an inner protruding part 10 which protrudes to the inner side toward the center axis to form a contracted passage 11; and a downstream side uneven part 19 formed at the downstream side of the inner protruding part with respect to a flow direction of the liquid flowing in the passage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
