ATTENUATION DAMPER
To provide an attenuation damper capable of attenuating rocking in two or more directions and suppressing vibrations of an external structure with respect to micro vibrations such as traffic vibrations.SOLUTION: An attenuation damper 40 has a lower plate 42 that can be fixed to a first external structure, an upper plate 41 that has a projecting portion 12 including at least four corner portions and side portions on a side surface, and an attenuating member 44 that connects the lower plate and the upper plate 41. A second external structure arranged above the upper plate 41 is provided with a plurality of stoppers 46 which do not abut on the corner portions. The respective side portions of the projecting portion 12 correspond to the plurality of stoppers 46. The projecting portion 12 is disposed to have a horizontal clearance and a vertical clearance between the projecting portion 12 and the second external structure. When the projecting portion 12 is relatively displaced with respect to the stoppers 46, the side portions of the projecting portion 12 and the side surfaces of the stoppers 46 abut on each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
