TRANSLUCENT HOUSING MATERIAL AND BUILDING
To provide a translucent housing material which is excellent in both impact resistance and weather resistance and contains a polycarbonate-based resin, and a building which has the translucent housing material and is excellent in reliability.SOLUTION: A translucent housing material 1 of the present invention has a base material 2 containing a polycarbonate-based resin as a main material, and resin layers 3 which are provided on both surface sides of the base material 2, and are formed using a resin composition containing a resin material having no aromatic ring and an ultraviolet absorber. The degree of yellowing of the translucent housing material measured according to JIS K 7373 after the resin layer 3 is irradiated with ultraviolet light according to JIS K 7350-4 using a sunshine weatherometer for 3,000 hours is less than 2.0 [ΔYI], and the translucent housing material 1 has a peak energy of 120 J or more in a high-speed surface impact test according to ASTM D3763.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】耐衝撃性と耐候性との双方に優れた、ポリカーボネート系樹脂を含有する透光性建材、および、かかる透光性建材を備える信頼性に優れた建築物を提供すること。【解決手段】本発明の透光性建材1は、ポリカーボネート系樹脂を主材料として構成された基材2と、この基材2の双方の面側に設けられ、芳香環を有しない樹脂材料と、紫外線吸収剤とを含む樹脂組成物を用いて形成された樹脂層3とを有している。そして、樹脂層3に、JIS K 7350-4に準じて、サンシャインウエザオメーターを用いて紫外線を3000時間照射した後における、JIS K 7373に準拠して測定された当該透光性建材の黄変度が2.0[ΔYI]未満であり、かつ、透光性建材1は、ASTM D3763に準拠した高速面衝撃試験において、ピークエネルギーが120J以上であることを満足する。【選択図】図1
