To provide an automatic door control device which allows positional information of a person or an object to be known through broadening the detection range of optical sensors in a simple manner.SOLUTION: An automatic door control device 28 has detection areas, each of which includes multiple detection spots, around sliding doors 12, and includes a first detection unit 18 and a second detection unit 20 which output detection information when detecting a person or an object in the detection areas, a detection range information generation unit 32 which generates a detection range which is obtained by integrating the detection areas respectively belonging to the first detection unit 18 and the second detection unit 20, a positional information generation unit 34 which generates the positional information of the person or the object in the detection range according to the detection information, and a controller 36 which performs control to open/close the sliding doors 12 according to the positional information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
