To provide a housing renovation method and the like capable of preventing condensation in a first room where insulation performance is relatively inferior while taking in fresh outside air to a first living room with an enhanced insulation performance by partially insulated renovation.SOLUTION: A renovation method of housing 1 including a first living room 30 equipped with air supply means 20 for taking outside air Ao and a first room 31 adjacent to the first living room, includes: a first step of improving the insulation performance of a wall and/or partition surrounding the space including the first living room 30 excluding the first room 31 higher than the existing state; and a second step of forming a ventilation path for supplying the air from the first living room 30 to the first room 31 via a total heat exchange ventilator 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
