To provide construction components of a foundation of slope protection blocks capable of improving transportation efficiency and constructing a foundation of slope protection blocks with various sizes, and to provide a foundation of slope protection blocks.SOLUTION: Construction components 100 of a foundation of slope protection blocks for constructing a foundation 200 of slope protection blocks that becomes a laying start point in laying slope protection blocks B comprise: a front face block 10 having a rectangular trapezoid shape in side view and erected so that a sloped side 11 is positioned at an upper part at a slope N side; a rear face block 20 formed to have the same cross section shape as that of the front face block 10 and erected so that a sloped side 21 is positioned at an upper part at the slope N side at a position with a prescribed interval at the slope N side with respect to the front face block 10; and a holding body 30 holding the front face block 10 and the rear face block 20.
