To provide a sash roller device and a sliding door that allow a door roller to function effectively.SOLUTION: A sash roller device 1 comprises a door roller 12 and a sash roller housing 10 that holds the door roller 12 and is mounted in a mounting hole 54 in a sliding door body 52 of a sliding door 50. The sash roller housing 10 comprises an exposed surface where the door roller 12 is exposed in the vertical direction DV, a flat back side located opposite the exposed surface, a first end face with a horizontal insertion hole where a horizontal fastener can be inserted in the horizontal direction DH, located in the running direction of the door 12, and a second end face located opposite the first end face. The sash roller housing 10 is attached to the sliding door body 52 by a fixing member 25. Inside the sash roller housing 10, a cylindrical rectangular frame, an inner vertical moving part that holds the door roller 12 and slides in the vertical direction DV inside the cylindrical rectangular frame, and a coil spring that displaces the inner vertical moving part in the vertical direction DV with respect to the cylindrical rectangular frame are provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
