To obtain an odor sealing material for a wall capable of suppressing an adhesion of odor to a building and diffusion of odor from a building material to which the odor adheres with consideration for an environment, and a wallpaper having the odor sealing material for the wall.SOLUTION: An odor sealing material for a wall includes: a paper base layer formed as an outermost layer; a layer containing a polyvinyl alcohol-based resin; an inorganic layer; and a layer containing a polyolefin having at least one selected from a carboxyl group, a salt of the carboxyl group, a carboxylic anhydride group and a carboxylic acid ester, in this order.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
