To provide a remote controller which can inhibit water exposure of a battery housing part while inhibiting deterioration of designability of a back surface of the remote controller.SOLUTION: A remote controller is detachably installed at a toilet room to control a toilet device remotely. The remote controller includes: a case having a battery housing part capable of housing batteries; a cover which covers the battery housing part; a seal member provided between the case and the cover; and an engagement mechanism which causes the cover to engage with the case. The engagement mechanism includes: an engaging part provided at the cover; an engaged part which is provided at the case and may engage with the engaging part; and an operation part for deforming a part of the engaging part to release engagement between the engaging part and the engaged part.
