METHOD FOR PRODUCING POWDERY THICKENER COMPOSITION
To provide a method for producing a powdery thickener composition in improved yield while keeping its thickening effect.SOLUTION: A method for producing a powdery thickener composition includes mixing (A) two or more compounds represented by the formula (1), (B) a glycol-based solvent, and (C) inorganic powder. The (A) two or more compounds have different X's in the formula (1). In at least one of the two or more compounds, R1a or R1b of X in the formula (1) is a compound of alkenyl group. A mixture containing the components (A) and (B) is mixed with the component (C). The formula (1) is: N-X(R2)(R3) [where X is a group represented by R1a or R1b-[CONH-CH2CH2CH2]n-. R1a and R1b each represent an alkyl group or alkenyl group having a predetermined number of carbon atoms. n is an integer of 1-3. R2 and R3 each represent a C1-4 alkyl group or a group represented by -(C2H4O)pH. p is a total of R2 and R3 to represent 0-5].SELECTED DRAWING: None
