To provide a railroad sleeper which does not require insertion of a hook bolt from the lower side of the sleeper and can be fixed to a longitudinal girder of an iron bridge by the hook bolt without large-scale work.SOLUTION: A railroad sleeper is fixed on a vertical girder of an iron bridge by a hook bolt and comprises a sleeper body 11 having a through part 12 which is opened in an upper surface 11a and a lower surface 11b in a state of being fixed to the vertical girder and through which a hook part of the hook bolt 31 can pass, and a fixture 21 attachable to and detachable from the sleeper body 11. The fixture 21 has a cover part 21a for closing at least a part of an opening of the through part 12 in the upper surface 11a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
