SEISMIC ISOLATION AND EARTHQUAKE-RESISTANT STRUCTURE OF COMBINED WOODEN AND LIGHT-FRAMED BUILDING
To provide seismic isolation and earthquake-resistant structures of combined wooden and lightweight steel-framed buildings that can ensure high seismic isolation and earthquake-resistant performance by firmly joining gusset plates and braces with two-face shear connections.SOLUTION: A seismic isolation and earthquake-resistant structure 10 of a combined wooden and light steel-framed building has gusset plates 30, 35 and 36 attached to respective diagonally opposite corners 20 between adjacent right and left columns 11 and 11, and adjacent upper and lower transverse members 21, 26 and 22 of the combined wooden and light steel-framed building, a pair of braces 40 and 40 bolted in a state of sandwiching the gusset plates 30, 35 and 36 attached to the respective corners 20 by end parts 40a and 40b, and the gusset plates 30, 35 and 36 are sandwiched by the end parts 40a and 40b of the pair of braces 40 and 40 and are subjected to two-face shear connections by a bolt 7.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
