SCOUR PREVENTION STRUCTURE AND CONSTRUCTION METHOD FOR SCOUR PREVENTION STRUCTURE
To provide a scour prevention structure which is easy to manufacture and arrange and which can reduce a flow speed on a water bottom surface and capture sand particles, and a construction method for the scour prevention structure.SOLUTION: A scour prevention structure 3 installed around a monopile 2 is constructed in such a manner that, after arranging a frame member 4 and protrusion members 5 around an installation scheduled part of the monopile 2, at the installation scheduled part of the monopile 2 surrounded with the frame member 4, the monopile 2 is installed by providing a gap 17 between the monopile and the frame member 4. The frame member 4 is arranged substantially radially around the monopile 2. The protrusion members 5 are a plurality of flat plate-like members, and fixed to the frame member 4 so as to surround the monopile 2. In a vertical direction cross section, the upper end side of the protrusion member 5 is inclined to the monopile 2 side, and the heights of the plurality of protrusion members 5 arranged having an interval from the monopile 2 side are not identical.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
