To provide a leveling tool that can prevent construction materials, which are granules or suspensions, from protruding from a side end of a leveling plate to the side.SOLUTION: A leveling tool 1 comprises a body part 2 along a construction surface S and a gripping part 3 required for pushing and pulling operation of the body part 2. The body part 2 includes a leveling plate 21 for leveling a construction material (mortar M), a side plate 22 extended from a side end of the leveling plate 21 in a direction intersecting with the leveling plate 21 (direction of movement Dm), and a top plate 23 extended from an upper end of the leveling plate 21 in a direction intersecting with the leveling plate 21 (direction of movement Dm). The side plate 22 and the top plate 23 are connected to each other at least on one side of the leveling plate 21 (one side of the direction of movement Dm).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
