To improve safety by suppressing the accumulation and scattering of sediment that spills when shaping a slope, and to improve the efficiency of sediment cleaning.SOLUTION: A sediment receiving device 10 installed on a slope 2 to receive the sediment S moving downward comprises a box-shaped main body 20 having an opening 20a for receiving the sediment S and a storage portion 20b for housing the sediment S, a handle portion 30 formed in a gate shape and protruding upward from an upper surface of the main body 20, and an insertion protrusion 40 that protrudes downward from the lower surface of the main body 20 and is inserted into the slope 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
