To achieve semi-automation with a simple and inexpensive structure in which water supply is performed manually and water cutoff is performed automatically, which reduces a burden on farmers, and to sufficiently supply water to a paddy field without increasing a flow rate of a water channel even in a place at a low water level of a water channel like a downstream part of a water channel 1.SOLUTION: A paddy field water supplying device in which an opening/closing plate 10 for opening/closing a gate port 4 of a water channel 1 is vertically movably provided in an upright posture includes: a handle 11 that is manually moved up together with the opening/closing plate 10; an engaged part 13 provided on the handle 11 and an engagement part 14 engaged therewith; a paddy field water level meter 26 for detecting that a paddy field water level A reaches a set water level; an electromagnetic solenoid 16 for moving the engagement part by energization based on the detection, and disengaging the engagement between the engagement part and the engaged part 13; and a block 30 for securing a water level of a water channel for raising and securing a water level B of a water channel in the gate port 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
