STEEL BEAM AND STRUCTURE HAVING THE SAME
To provide a steel beam which is provided with a vertical haunch at a beam end, can mitigate occurrence of stress (strain) concentration, provide through holes for equipment piping at the beam end, and eliminate need for processing through holes for equipment piping at a beam center, and to provide a structure having the same.SOLUTION: In a steel beam having a web and flanges connected to the top and bottom of the web, both end portions of the steel beam in a material axial direction are provided with beam height expansion portions whose beam height is expanded than at the center portion in the material axial direction, and openings are provided in the web of the beam height expansion portions.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
