To provide a screw type deposit recovery apparatus, a deposit recovery work machine, and a deposit recovery method that can scrap deposits consisting of granular materials deposited in a low-profile space below a belt conveyor to outside with a simple and inexpensive configuration and with good workability, for example.SOLUTION: A screw type deposit recovery apparatus 13, a deposit recovery work machine 10, and a deposit recovery method that scrap deposits 15 deposited in a low-profile space 14 to outside include mounting means 27 attached to a boom 12 of a mobile vehicle 11, scrap means 28 including a long rotational shaft 36 rotatably attached to the mounting means and a screw blade 37 spirally wound around the outer circumference of the rotational shaft from a longitudinal direction base end portion to a tip potion, and drive means 29 that is attached to the mounting means 27 and rotatably drives the scrap means 28.
