To repair a roof that includes a trough part without removing an existing valley plate.SOLUTION: A valley cover that is used when an existing roof including a trough part is repaired with a repairing roof material where a ridge side inserting part, a covering part and an eaves side folding part are integrally formed, includes a pair of upper surface cover pieces 110 where ridge side end parts can be inserted between existing roof materials overlaid stepwise in an eaves ridge direction, a pair of end surface cover pieces 120 that are connected downward from opposite end edges 112 of the pair of upper surface cover pieces 110 and cover valley side end surfaces of existing roof materials 1001, and valley plate cover pieces 130 crossing between lower edges 122 of the pair of end surface cover pieces 120 and extending along a surface of an existing valley plate 101. The upper surface cover pieces 110, the end surface cover pieces 120 and the valley plate cover pieces 130 are formed integrally.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
