COMPOSITION OF RAW MATERIAL FOR REFRACTORY BRICK AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING REFRACTORY BRICK
To improve both a slaking resistance and hot characteristics of magnesia-spinel refractory bricks in a high temperature range.SOLUTION: A magnesia-spinel refractory brick comprises a composition of: 0.5 to 5 mass% hercynite; 12 to 50 mass% periclase coexisting sintered spinel with a B2O3 content of 0.1 to 0.5 mass%; and 47 to 85 mass% sintered magnesia with the B2O3 content of 0.2 mass% or less. The bricks are obtained by forming the composition and firing at 1450-1650°C.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】マグネシア・スピネル質耐火れんがの耐消化性と高温域における熱間特性を両立して向上させる。【解決手段】ヘルシナイト0.5~5質量%、B2O3含有量が0.1~0.5質量%のペリクレース共存型焼結スピネル12~50質量%、B2O3含有量が0.2質量%以下の焼結マグネシア47~85質量%を含む組成物よりなるマグネシア・スピネル質耐火れんがであり、前記組成物を成形し、1450~1650℃で焼成して得られる。【選択図】なし
