To provide a holding device and a disassembling method capable of cutting off an aquatic structure from a water bottom and disassembling it without damaging the surroundings and without scattering or spilling a contaminant stuck to or included in the aquatic structure into water.SOLUTION: This holding device for holding an aquatic structure 200 of a fixed-bottom type extending from a water bottom toward on-water comprises: a floating body structure 110 floating on water; a holding mechanism 120 for holding the aquatic structure 200; and a support mechanism 130 installed on the floating body structure 110 to support the holding mechanism 120 rotatably about an axis X.
