To provide an earthquake proof reinforcement device having excellent flexibility or versatility when employed in a building and performing earthquake proof reinforcement at a low cost.SOLUTION: A lower projection part 32 of lower fixing hardware 31 fixed to a side surface of a foundation 1 has a lower holding part 32a for holding a lower end of a textile material bundle Fb for reinforcement. An upper projection part 36 of upper fixing hardware 35 fixed to an upper structure has an upper holding part 36a for holding an upper end of the textile material bundle Fb for reinforcement. Removal prevention parts 33, 37 are provided at the lower end and the upper end of the textile material bundle Fb for reinforcement. In the textile material bundle Fb for reinforcement, a portion of the lower end, situated above the removal prevention part 33 is held by the lower holding part 32a of the lower projection part 32 and a portion of the upper end, situated below the removal prevention part 37 is held by the upper holding part 36a of the upper projection part 36.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
