SOUND ABSORBING MATERIAL AND COLLECTIVE JOINT
To provide a sound absorbing material and a collective joint capable of easily holding a refractory material.SOLUTION: A collective joint 1 has a joint upper part 11 to which a first and second vertical pipes P1, P2 and a horizontal pipe P3 are connected, a joint lower part 12 with a cylindrical tube part 16 and a reduced diameter part 17, and a refractory material 19 provided on the joint lower part 12. A sound absorbing material 32 is attached to the joint lower part 12 of the collective joint 1. The sound absorbing material 32 has an inorganic fiber layer 41 and a flame-retardant material layer laminated in this order. The inorganic fiber layer 41 is arranged on the joint lower part 12 side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
