ADAPTER, AND METHOD FOR CONVERTING SENSOR-OPERATED FAUCET TO MANUAL FAUCET
To provide a method for converting a sensor-operated faucet including an electromagnetic valve unit into a manual faucet easily and at low cost.SOLUTION: An adapter 60 is used for a sensor-operated faucet including a solenoid valve unit, and is used for converting the solenoid valve unit into a manual faucet by removing the solenoid valve unit. The sensor-operated faucet comprises: a faucet body to which a water supply pipe 30 is connected; a solenoid valve unit connected to the water supply pipe 30; and a hose 50 connected to the solenoid valve unit, and the sensor-operated faucet is configured such that hot-water flowing through the water supply pipe 30 flows to the hose 50 via the solenoid valve unit. The adapter 60 has: a first connection part 61 connected to the water supply pipe 30 instead of the solenoid valve unit; and a second connection part 62 connected to the hose 50 instead of the solenoid valve unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
