To provide a device that has a laundry pole horizontally held at an upper end part of vertically erected support rods and allows laundry to be hung on the laundry pole and dried.SOLUTION: A plurality of roof arms 5, 5... of substantial chevron shape are placed above a laundry pole 2. Ropes 11, 11... on which tension is applied downward are connected to both ends of the roof arms 5, 5.... The roof arms 5, 5... are covered by a sheet 6. 【課題】 垂直に起立する支柱の上端部には水平に掛架した干し物竿を有し、この干し物竿に洗濯物を吊下げて乾かすことが出来る装置の提供。【解決手段】 干し物竿２には概略山形をした複数の屋根アーム５，５・・・を載置し、屋根アーム５，５・・・の両端には下方に張力を付勢したロープ１１，１１・・・を連結し、上記屋根アーム２，２・・・にはシート６を被覆すると共にシート下縁にはロープ８，８・・・を繋いで下方に張力を付勢している。【選択図】 図１
