To provide a fitting member capable of fitting a decorative member to a skeleton of an architectural structure in a state of hardly being affected from external factors at a portion for holding the decorative member, an exterior wall unit, an architectural structure and a fitting method.SOLUTION: A fitting member fits a decorative member to a skeleton that includes a first column member having a first column outer surface and a first column inner surface and a second column member having a second column outer surface and a second column inner surface. The fitting member includes: a first clamp member arranged across the first column outer surface and the second column outer surface; a second clamp member having a part to be operated arranged outside the first clamp member, an insertion part extending to the inside of at least one of the first column inner surface and the second column inner surface, and a clamp piece for clamping at least one of the column members between itself and the first clamp member; and a fitting mechanism fittable onto the face of the decorative member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
