To provide a hanging scaffold which can be built by moving members constituting the scaffold downward from above.SOLUTION: A hanging scaffold includes a beam joint 200 for connecting a plurality of deck beams 300. At an end of the deck beam 300, a connection member 303 is arranged that includes a pair of plate members 303a that extend vertically and face each other while leaving a space horizontally. Between the pair of plate members 303a, a gap opened downward is formed. The beam joint 200 includes a connection plate section 200d which extends vertically and which is inserted between the pair of plate members 303a for connection.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 21
