To provide a frame body and a fitting capable of improving fire prevention performance by maintaining screws coming off from screw holes for a predetermined period of time in the event of a fire.SOLUTION: A bottom rail 52 has a hollow portion 525 defined by an outdoor width surface 521, an interior width surface 522, an inner circumferential side depth surface 523 in which a screw hole 526 is formed, and an outer circumferential side depth surface 524. An inner circumferential side depth surface 533 of a vertical stile has an insertion hole 5331 into which an assembly screw 91 screwed into the screw hole 526 is inserted. A reinforcing material 62 placed in the hollow portion 525 of the bottom rail 52 has an inner circumferential depth piece 622 disposed opposite to the inner circumferential side depth surface 523 with the screw hole 526 interposed therebetween in at least a part of the screwing area that is screwed together with the assembly screw 91 of the screw hole 526, and a width piece 621 provided along the outdoor width surface 521.
