To provide a foam-filled steel pipe that suppresses inside of steel pipe from rusting or suppresses rust from growing.SOLUTION: A foam-filled steel pipe 1 is hollow inside, and includes a steel pipe 2 extending in the longitudinal direction, a foam body 3 filled inside the steel pipe 2, an opening part 4 formed in the steel pipe 2, and a closing member 5 for closing the opening part 4. The foam body 3 contacts an inner wall 2c of the steel pipe 2 from a first end 2a that is one end in the longitudinal direction to a second end 2b that is the other end. The opening part 4 is closed with the closing member 5 in direct contact with the foam body 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
