To provide a console device for a construction machine in which interference between a worker and a safety bar is effectively suppressed in a non-operation position of a console assembly.SOLUTION: In a console device, a console frame is attached to a base frame so as to be rotatable between an operation position and a non-operation position about a first rotation axis along the width direction of an operation space. A safety bar is rotatably attached to a console assembly about a second rotation axis along the width direction of the operation space, and is rotatable between a protruding position in which the safety bar protrudes from the console assembly toward a front side of the operation space and a retracted position. Rotation of the console assembly from the non-operation position to the operation position causes the safety bar to rotate from the retracted position to the protruding position in a direction counter to the rotation of the console assembly.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
