BASE UNIT FOR LATCH LOCK HANDLE
To provide a base unit for latch lock handles that can support doors with different thicknesses, and for which an operator does not need to hold the base unit when attaching to a door and it is possible to fix bases on both sides of the door in a one-touch manner with the same fixing strength even for different thicknesses.SOLUTION: Bases 4a, 4b fix handles 3a, 3b that operate a latch 2a of a latch lock 2 to a door. The bases 4a, 4b have bodies 5a, 5b, respectively. Each of the bodies 5a, 5b has a guide body 6 and/or a retainer 7. The guide body 6 has a length from the base end side to the tip side. The tip side of the guide body 6 is provided with an engagement section 8. The engagement section 8 engages with the retainer 7 that is provided on the body 5b of the counterpart base 4b. The body 5a can relatively move along the guide body 6 provided on the body 5a, and is provided with biasing means 9 that biases the body 5a provided with the guide body 6 in a direction of approaching the counterpart base 4b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
