To provide a wall surface material for lightweight banking and a lightweight banking structure excellent in handleability and workability, and capable of preventing contamination on a protection panel by sewage.SOLUTION: A lightweight banking structure uses a wall surface material 40 for lightweight banking provided with a lightweight block 20 and a protection panel 30, wherein the protection panel 30 comprises a coverable panel body 31 abutting an exposed front surface 21 of a light weight block 20 and is provided with at least a concave type engagement part formed in a lateral edge of an upper part of the panel body and a convex type engagement part formed on a lateral edge of a lower part of the panel body to allow a drain groove having continuity between peripheral edge surfaces of adjacent panel bodies.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
