To provide a method for producing a cured body capable of producing a cured body having sufficient strength without requiring high molding pressure.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for producing a cured body which comprises: a first step of producing a compact by pressurizing and molding a composition containing CaO, SiO2 and Al2O3 and having a hydroxylation degree of 15 to 26 mass%; a second step of bringing the compact prepared in the first step into contact with an aqueous bicarbonate solution prepared by blowing carbon dioxide gas into a mixed liquid of a material containing a Group 2 element and water; and a third step of drying the compact after the second step.SELECTED DRAWING: None
