To reduce the size of a switchgear.SOLUTION: A switchgear for opening/closing an opening part of a cover member, comprises: a frame member attached to the cover member; a screw shaft connected to an electric motor; a guide shaft parallel to the screw shaft; and a slide plate attached to the screw shaft and the guide shaft. A movement direction of the slide plate is a first direction, and a direction perpendicular to the movement direction is a second direction. The slide plate comprises: a plate body that opens/closes the opening part; a female screw part provided at one end part of the plate body in the second direction, and attached to the screw shaft; and a slide part provided at the other end part of the plate body in the second direction, and attached to the guide shaft. A first notch is provided at one end part of the female screw part in the first direction, and a second notch is provided at the other end part of the female screw part in the first direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4B
