To appropriately execute welding even when a steel pipe inner diameter at a place where a reinforcement is disposed is smaller than the width of the reinforcement plate.SOLUTION: A plate-like reinforcement plate inserted into a rectangular steel pipe having a square sectional shape and having four sides welded at outer peripheral ends to the inner surface of the rectangular steel pipe is configured such that at least a pair of two sides of the four sides of the reinforcement plate opposite to each other is provided with a bevel having an opening on one plate surface side, and at the bevel disposed on the opposite side of the pair of two sides, openings are provided on the plate surface sides of the opposite sides.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
