To provide a technology to safely and easily remotely monitor a closed state of an opening part in a water receiving tank.SOLUTION: A water receiving tank system according to an aspect of the present disclosure comprises: a water receiving tank that has an opening part on a top surface configured to be closable by a cover; a first illuminance sensor that is installed inside the water receiving tank; a second illuminance sensor that is installed outside the water receiving tank; and an information processing device that determines a closed state of the opening part of the water receiving tank based on a first illuminance measured by the first illuminance sensor and a second illuminance measured by the second illuminance sensor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
