To provide a composite diamond-shaped wire mesh that is lightweight and has excellent shock absorption performance, which is made by integrating two diamond-shaped wire meshes in a slidable manner.SOLUTION: In a composite diamond-shaped wire mesh 1 of the present invention, in each stage, the first row line 10 and the second row line 20 of the same shape are shifted in the X direction and arranged in parallel, a first lower protruding part 12 on the upper stage does not engage with a second upper protruding part 21 on the lower stage, but engages with a first upper protruding part 11 of the lower stage to form a first engaging part 14, a second lower protruding part 22 on the upper stage does not engage with the first upper protruding 11 on the lower stage but engages with a lower second upper protruding part 21 to form a second engaging part 24, between two first engaging parts 14 adjacent in the X direction, the second engaging part 24 is constrained to slide freely in the X direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
