To provide a joint structure and fitting which are capable of suppressing the distortion of a frame body even upon receipt of a high load.SOLUTION: A joint 10 is for joining a lateral frame 24 and a vertical frame 26 to each other, in which the lateral frame 24 includes a base member 36 and a cover member 38 that overlap in the depth direction, the vertical frame 26 includes a base member 66 and a cover member 68 that overlap in the depth direction, the lateral frame 24 and the vertical frame 26 have overlapping portions 60,70 that overlap each other in the depth direction, convex portions 62a, 62b that are relatively convex in the depth direction are formed in the overlapping portion 60 of the lateral frame 24, concave portions 74a, 74b that are relatively concave in the depth direction are formed in the overlapping portion 70 of the vertical frame 26, and the depth surfaces of the convex portions 62a, 62b and the concave portions 74a, 74b are in surface contact with each other in the longitudinal direction and the lateral direction. The base member 36 and the base member 66 are combined in the longitudinal direction, and the cover member 38 and the cover material 68 are combined in the lateral direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
